Can someone PLEASE help me. I am desperate! Thanks in advance.

I am trying to sort a column that has formulas in it so it adds the data in each row across.
I then need to sort that column (P) from highest value to lowest value. I used the "sort by" function under DATA.
I highlighted all the rows and columns and my
column (P) sorts ok, but the data in each row across for most of the cells has shifted out of order.
I deleted 3 separate rows prior to sorting by highlighting each row and then went to "insert/delete columns rows etc" which removed the row.
I have never had
this problem before and this is the only spreadsheet I work with.
I checked all my formulas in each row and they are correct.
How can I dort my colum (P) and have the data in each row remain where it should be? I am desperate! Please help! Thanks in advance.

a)     Does this happen to all pages you visit or any particular page?
b)    Since when are you getting this issue?
c)     Which version of Internet Explorer are you using?

Method 1:
As of now I would suggest you to perform a System File Checker [SFC] scan on the computer

Steps to perform SFC scan:

1.
Click the Start button
2.
From the Start Menu, Click All programs followed by Accessories
3.
In the Accessories menu, Right Click on the Command Prompt option
4.
From the drop down menu that appears, Click on the 'Run as administrator' option
5.
If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked for authorization prior to the command prompt opening.
You may simply need to press the Continue button if you are the administrator or insert the administrator password
etc.
6.
In the Command Prompt window, type: sfc /scannow and then press Enter
7.
A message will appear stating that 'The system scan will begin'
8.
Be patient because the scan may take some time
9.
If any files require replacing SFC will replace them.
You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
10.
If everything is okay you should, after the scan, see the following message "Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations"
11.
After the scan has completed, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Method 2:
Clear cached data in Internet Explorer
To determine whether a performance issue or an error message is caused by corruption in the temporary Internet files or in other cached information that is used by Internet Explorer, you must clear cached data.
To do this, follow these steps:

Internet Explorer 7
1.     Open Internet Explorer 7.
2.     Click
Tools, and then click Delete Browsing History.

3.     In
Delete Browsing History, click Delete All.

4.     Click to select the

Internet Explorer 8
1.     Open Internet Explorer 8.

can't download windows update, can't install service pack 1

Need help. few problems here:

(1) my laptop sometimes suddently switch to the blue screen with some error message running ( too fast to record it) and shut down itself and restart again.

(2) Windows update will tell me there are some updates available.
but when i click on " install updates" it will stay on the downloading....
always at 0%..
never download or install anything.

(3) trying to google online for the above error, and someone suggested maybe need service pack 1 to be installed.
so download it, however, when ever trying to install it - it wlll stop and says " the windwos service pack 1 was not installed successfully" and
with error : 0x800f0902

(4) also from the google, i was trying to do system restore,.
it says C: local drive has error, could not perform too..

Disable automatic restart on system failure.

Running System Update Readiness Command

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve Can't get Lifecam vx7000 to install on windows 7 in Windows.

Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.

Thank you for posting. The first thing we need to do is reset your Internet Explorer settings back to default.
Resetting the defaults will correct any settings that may have been inadvertently changed that are now prevernting you from being able to download files.
Here is how to reset IE to defaults:
1.     Open Internet Explorer
2.     Click on Tools
3.     Click Internet Options
4.     Click the Advanced tab
5.     Locate the Reset Internet Explorer Settings heading
6.     Click the Reset button
7.     Click Ok
8.     Restart Internet Explorer

Windows Error Reporting - To Fix can't download, error "can not open connection"

Go to Start button.
Open Control Panel.
Go to Windows Error Reporting.
Click on System and Maintenance, then click Problem Reports and Solutions.
Next, click Change Settings located on the left side panel of the Problem Reports and Solutions window.
Select an option to configure how you want Windows to look for a solution to your problems. You may allow Windows to do it automatically or ask you every time to check if problem occurs.
Next, click the Advanced settings link.
Select Off to turn off Error Reporting.

Can not uninstall a RAID storage controller driver which loads at boot.

I am running a Home Built: P6T-V2 ASUS Deluxe, I7-950 OC 3.7G, Corsair Vengeance RAM 12 GB, Vertex 840 256 GB SSD,
2 internal ADHI Seagate 1TB drives ACHI no RAID, Quadro 3800 GPU and an external G-Tech es 4 1TB drives in RAID 5 with an included powered 3port SATA card.
All runnin under the control of Windows 7 x64 updated.

When I installed the G-Tech and booted up Windows started to install its own idea of the correct driver and before I knew it the G-tech had a Highpoint 231xx RAID driver instead of the G-Tech driver.
Dismayed by this turn of events hoping for a celebration, I, instead, was despondent.
I went to the System Device manager and uninstalled the listing for the Highpoint Driver and installed the G-Tech "G-SPEED es RAID Controller and G-TECH RCM Device.

I double checked the Device Manager and saw no remnant of the Highpoint 231xx Driver
Once again I rebooted and sure to have a simple result: broke out my best '56 Montrchet Cabernet poured into my cut crystal Louie’s XV decanter, when in horror I saw the same 231xx driver open and go through, "PRESS CTRL+H TO
ENTER", process for a good 15 seconds. My previous steps provided no urge to celebrate; anyway the wine had gotten warm.

I have since done, not 1 but 2 CLEAN Windows 7 x64 reinstalls.
Obviously the file executable during boot is residing somewhere other then the SSD systems disc or the D drive User files (I moved all the user folders to the D drive using WAIK sysprep tools.)

I also removed the CMOS battery and reset--No Luck
Replaced the C drive HD with the SSD-No Luck
The Highpoint service people were no use.
Am I just fated to live with the dirty secret: I could not uninstall a little stupid, infuriating, tenacious, piece of Code!?

The Highpoint driver does not appear to cause any ill effects (I think not?) and it really is just an annoyance and slows down the boot by about 15 seconds but I would really like to know how to find the rouge driver and get rid of it.

Any help would be welcomed with gratitude .

Can't backup Western Digital external hard drive after installing MS Fix It program

I installed MS Fix It program and ever since then, I have had backup problems with my WD (Western DigitaL) external hard drive. I have used this for many months to back up my entire computer, using my Norton program, and now I get the message that there
is a "problem with the back up". It asks me to check to see if the device is connected, (Of course it is!!). I also noticed that my external hard drive was changed from "F" to "G" after I installeld Fix It. This is fine, but WHY? Is FIX It considered
a device?

WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW CAN I GET THIS BACK TO NORMAL SO I CAN EASILY BACK UP AGAIN????? This is very frustrating.

-          Have you installed Notepad ++ on your computer?
If Notepad++ is installed in your computer, follow the steps mentioned below and check how it works.
a.       Click Start button.
b.      Type Default Programs in search box and hit enter.
c.       Select Associate a file type or protocol to a program.
d.      Select the exact file type of the Notepad++ and select Change Program option.
e.      There you will find the Notepad++ program.

Boot in Safe Mode:

Open Run command as previously described
Type MSConfig
Click on Boot tab
Tick Safe boot in Boot option
Select Network
Click Apply and OK
Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
