Dll errors can occur on every program in the windows system including the windows equiped software and the later installed applications because dlls are important system files that control and decide how everything on the system works with each other. The most common dll errors occur on Microsoft products which are so frequently used by many computer users. Take System32.dll for example.
2.Type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow
[The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.]
3.A message will appear showing that ‘The system scan will begin’. The scan may take some time. Try to be patient.
If any files require a replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your system DVD for this process to continue.
If everything is okay you should, after the scan, see the following message “Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations”.
After the scan has completed, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.
- System32.dll not found;
- Cannot find C:\Windows\System32\System32.dll;
- A required component is missing: System32.dll;
- Cannot register System32.dll;
- The file System32.dll is missing;
- This application failed to start because System32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may resolve this issue;
- System32.dll Access Violation;
Solution A: Run a system file checker
1.Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are asked for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.2.Type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow
