Laptop will not connect to WDTVLIVE.

I have a WDTVLIVE box in my house that I could connect to from my laptop and my PC by typing //wdtvlive this was fine until 2 weeks ago when my laptop stopped connecting and claimed not to be able to see the device on the network.

However my PC still connects without a problem to the WDTVLIVE.
My laptop can still connect directly to my PC and vice versa.
All firewall and network settings are the same between the laptop and PC.

But they act differently, I've tried everything, does anyone have any suggestions

Method 1
I would suggest you to disable the  antivirus see if that helps.
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.
In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software.
If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable
it as soon as you're done.
If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2
If the above steps fail, I would suggest you to perform clean boot.

To install drivers and other optional updates

5. Select the optional updates that you want, and then click Install. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
