Cannot delete stored photos on memory stick

I have transferred pictures from my laptop onto my memory disc.
I now want to delete all of the pictures but it will not allow me to.
I thought that by clicking  "select all" and then "delete" would work but it is not allowing me to delete.
I am also getting
error code 808000000a coming up on some of the picture files and also saying that the file is too long ??? Also, some of the pictures will not open. Surely there is a simple way to delete so that I have a clean memory stick? Thanks

Download Error Fixer (Free)

Click on start and select computer.
Hold the shift key and right click on the memory disc and select open command prompt here.

You can  navigate to the sub folder in the memory disc, by entering the following command in the command prompt window.

cd foldername

foldername -> name of the folder

Once at the desired location, enter the following command to force delete all pictures.

del /f *.jpg

Note: This will delete all .jpg files

Or if want to get rid all the pictures, you can format the memory disc.

Right click on the memory disc and select format.

Machine Throttling

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
• On the right window pane, delete the subkey: "Machine Throttling".
• Reboot your system.
