Can not add to favorites and my list of favorites are no longer appearing.

Can not add to favorites and my list of favorites are no longer appearing.
I found the favorite folder somehow had been moved to another directory.
I put the folder back to correct directorr but still does not showup.
How can this be fixed.

1. Which is the Operating System installed on your computer?
2. Do you remember making  any changes to the computer prior to this issue?
 
Follow these methods mentioned below and check if it helps.
Method 1: I would suggest you delete the current favorite folder present for your user account -
C:\Users\ (username)\Favorites
Then open the internet explorer browser window this will recreate the favorites folder.
Try again importing the favorite’s folder file and check if this helps.
 
Method 2:  If this does not help, you may try performing a system restore to the date where IE was working correctly.
Perform system restore on your computer.

 System restore will take your computer to pervious state when it was not facing such problem, this can be done by selecting the proper restore point.  
 
To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
 a.
Click Start, type system restore
in the Start Search box, and then click System Restore
in the Programs list.
 If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click
Continue.
 b.
In the System Restore dialog box, click Choose a different restore point, and then click
Next.

c.
In the list of restore points, click a restore point that was created before you began to experience the issue, and then click
Next.

d.
Click Finish.

Running System Update Readiness Command

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve Can not add to favorites and my list of favorites are no longer appearing. in Windows.

1. Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
3. Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.
4. Close the Command Prompt Window because we are done.
