AutoFormat As You Type - which style is applied
Hello Community,
I have been building up a word template - and based upon advice from several sources, used styles extensively to make it easy maintainable.
This also includes creating customized styles for numbered and bulleted lists.
However - I find it seriously annoying, that I cannot benefit from the "AutoFormat As You Type" feature for bulleted/numbered lists.
I find it so easy to just write 1) SOMETHING, and it is turned into a numbered list.
But - my problem is that this numbered
list is always style type "list paragraph".
How do I make autoformat use my customized style instead (i.e.
make it autoformat to "CustomizedListNumber style" instead of "list paragraph")?
Thanks a lot in advance for your support.
Best regards
Hans
