Autoplay settings for data CD's
Can anyone please advise as to which Autoplay option is best to select for data discs and which category from the list is meant to cover data CD's? Recently had some problems getting the drive on my new PB all-in-one to load the CD I made with the documents
on from my old PC.
Audio CD's and movie DVD's play straight away, but for some reason, the drive seems to struggle with this data CD.
It takes many attempts before it will and often does nothing except click away!

As before; close autoplay then explore the disk in explorer and copy data to the relevent Libraries (ie Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos)
(The autoplay settings are not able to decide which data files should be transfered to which Library, as their contents may be specific to that individual library))
Windows Error Reporting - To Fix Autoplay settings for data CD's
- Go to Start button.
- Open Control Panel.
- Go to Windows Error Reporting.
- Click on System and Maintenance, then click Problem Reports and Solutions.
- Next, click Change Settings located on the left side panel of the Problem Reports and Solutions window.
- Select an option to configure how you want Windows to look for a solution to your problems. You may allow Windows to do it automatically or ask you every time to check if problem occurs.
- Next, click the Advanced settings link.
- Select Off to turn off Error Reporting.
