Error occurs when starting the task scheduler in Win 7

Hi,
when I start the Win 7 scheduler an error occurs saying:
"Activity: User_Feed_Synchronization-EDF43E89-329D-4E2B-8ED4-F060BEB63DF5: The acitivity image is damaged or has been manipulated."
Why do I get this error that stops me from creating a scheulde task and how can I get the scheduler to work again?
