ms money uk version

I have MS Money UK Verion 11, probably year 2002.  I do not do on-line banking  or stocks/shares on-line.  I use the program on both XP and Windows 7.  MS are no longer doing a UK version (shame!).
I have 2 questions:
 
1.  If I buy the US version, can I change the currency to pounds sterling and easily across all accounts?
2.
MS is offering the Sunset free upgrade in various options.  Is there a UK version of this and which of the various options should I download if I decide against buying the US version?
 
Grateful for help on this as I rely totally on MS Money for normal home accounting.

We don't cover Money in this Forum.  For information from other forums about Money, please see:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/money.  There isn't one specifically for the UK, but if anyone can help, that's the place.  They can at least answer question #1 for the US
version you choose.
 
Keep in mind that Money is no longer sold or supported anywhere.  If you can find one in or for the US, it'll be from a 3rd party source (where you're taking your chances) and an obsolete version instantly and instantly not supported except through the above
forum and possibly some resources you might find there (but probably not for too much longer).
 
I hope this helps.  To be perfectly honest, it might be time to be thinking about tossing out those comfortable old but falling apart slippers and getting a new pair.  In effect, find an alternative to Money.  I don't know of a good free product and don't
like recommending paid products - but I suspect you at least know the fairly obvious competitor for years and there may be other choices too.  But the decision is yours.
