How to Resolve - Active Title Bar Color?

Active Title Bar Color

I'm trying to change the color of windows active title bar, because I can't tell

what window is active in some cases.

-I right click on the desktop.
-Personalize
-Advanced
-I click the title bar (interactive area) to change the active drop down selection to"active title bar"
-Then I select the custom color of the supposed active title bar.
All looks well
in the preview, but after clicking "ok" nothing is changed in the Windows environment.

Any Ideas?

If you are running the Vista Aero theme, you cannot customize those settings.
You would need to switch to a classic theme first.
