32 bit Windows 8.1 but with 64 bit processor

I have installed Windows 8.1 with 32 bit operating system.
I now discover that my desktop has a 64 bit processor.
What do I do?

Run CHKDSK

Go to the Start button.
In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Reboot your computer.
