Solution to Error: 32 bit? 64 bit?

32 bit? 64 bit?

I have reviewed the ??s  and answers yet still in a fog.   Am I correct in surmising that I have a 32bit running on a 64bit browser.
 What specifically does bit refer to?  Sorry if this sounds UHHHH! I learn something new every day but not as skilled as
my younger users.
I followed the steps in one answer and reached a java site.
Far too technical for me.

To find out what "bit" your system is.....

Machine Throttling
  • Click the Start button.
  • In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
  • On the right window pane, delete the subkey: "Machine Throttling".
  • Reboot your computer.
