Windows Explorer and Windows Task Manager keep crashing - even in safe mode
Tonight I was using my Dell XPS 14 when it suddenly blue screened.
(I did not install any software or driver updates all day - in fact I spent most of the day on an airplane flying to Japan.)
After the blue screen, I restarted the laptop.
Now, using normal boot - Windows Explorer always crashes after I log in.
If I hit control-shift-escape to bring up task manager, that works - but when I choose File->New Task (Run...) then Windows Task Manager crashes.
When I boot into safe mode, Windows Explorer never even loads.
If I hit control-shift-escape and then File->New Task (Run...) Windows Task Manager crashes.
This is Windows 7.
What can I do? I'm 5000+ miles from home for the next week!
